I agree with Speed...its a war on the oil & gas resources ...
and in these times of recession can US really take that step to part ways with any country in this part of the world which provides them so much financial support by pegging dollar against home currency... i dont think so...
on the other side China has already started flexing its muscles to have more say in global affairs by throwing the idea of “super-sovereign reserve currency” at the expense of US dollar...
Only time will tell though how US and Qatar relationship continues or otherwise...
