Ping is used to measure the round trip time to a host. Form the figure the host is Server at QTEL and it has taken 58 milli Seconds.
The download speed is a measure of the amount of data you can download, In the figure it is 1Mb/s. Which means you can download at a speed of 1 Mega bit per Second.
Upload speed is similar to download but the direction is from your device to QTEL.
The Speeds shown in the figure are for a default ADSL connection which was 512 Kb upgraded to 1Mb/s. These speed are up to the QTEL servers, from there you have to compete with others on what ever bandwidth is available to reach the Internet. This means that though you have a 1mb/s line it does not guarantee that this will be available to you when connected to servers outside Qatar.
