running around shutting down travel isn't going to help anything. As its been said before..its just a strain of the flu. Common health practices will help stop the spread of the disease and if you DO happen to get ill, go to the doctor, get the antiviral and STAY HOME and get well!

As far as Mikaylasmom post...the swine flu has been around MUCH longer than one year..I remember getting the vaccine for it when I was a freshman in college and that was back in 1975...stone ages ago..Her numbers are from the time they gave that particular strain a name. Its probably been around longer than that, they just hadn't isolated it yet. Panicking isn't going to help anything. Common sense will.

Like any contagious disease, those are the most risk are the elderly, the very young and those with weakened immune and/or respiratory systems.
