You are not getting my point... Companies are running mix environment (our is also the example and we are running SUSE) but they are running paid versions because they need ownership of those OS so that they can get back to them in case of any issue...

If I have to pay for any OS, I will go with MS product for sure...

UBUNTU is not offering anything new.... If the old command line interface is the best (as most of the companies are running that interface), why UBUNTU is in market because they offered interface like MAC and Windows, thats why people are using it.. If you are talking about Linux, its real flavor and powerful features are in its command line... why people are using UBUNTU because it is new but remember it looks like Windows..... Now when Windows 7 is in market. I can bet, UBUNTU will change their interface like Windows 7...

Thats why I already said when any OS is trying to look like another one, why not the master one?
