anish kerala,

LOL... trust me that is exactly what everybody things at their initial stay in this city.
If you want to know about the next typical phases, it’s more or less like this:

1. You identify problems and try to provide suggestions to solve these problems;
2. You realize that not a single soul cares a bit about anything here, as we (expats) are all here to make money and leave and the locals are not in touch with our problems as they get almost everything they want without any big effort;
3. After realizing that all your efforts to contribute to improve things here fail, you then adopt a passive attitude, taking everything for granted, expecting that you will always have bad services and nothing goes as planned. You also learn that when you get good service and things go OK, it’s a bonus from the gods.
4. And then you go on like this, a bit with your life on stand by, until you hopefully get to the day that you can go back to your family.

This is pretty much the trend of those who arrive here, identify problems and dare to suggest improvements.

Good luck!
