Nothing is wrong with you having your own believes, what is wrong is you imposing them on others and expect the world to spin around you. This is no longer possible, not even in one’s own country!
As for the fact that your country opened its doors to the west, it just has to bear the good and the bad.
The fact that you can type your message in a computer here in Qatar is the result of letting the western world come into Qatar. If the West wasn't here, you would be in the same conditions as you were 100 years ago. And maybe that would be better, because you wouldn't have to face any western or western products or life style.
Because your government choose not to remain isolated and invited the west in, you have to take it the whole package.
If you are not happy with this, which is your right, please convey your message to your Emir - the only one who can stop the western world coming into Qatar.

I feel sorry for people like you, because this is the global world and you can't expect the world to pretend they are what they are not, just for you.
I suggest you start preparing your kids to become more open otherwise they will be left out!
