There WAS a time when MES was good for higher classes. One can say the girls section is still not doing all that bad in general. But gone are the days when schools like DMIS faltered and people moved kids back to MES and others for the last 2 or 3 years of their school education.

If you see bright students from MES outside, talk to them. It would be their individual effort, their parents efforts, and in many cases, generous amount of private tuition (the MES trademark!). And having a few students studying outside (parent's income is a big factor in that) is hardly any yardstick ! The yardstick should be how an AVERAGE student does in school NOW. Not last year, not 5 years ago, and certainly not 10 years ago !!

The comment about BPS, DPS etc being business ventures puts the whole thing in perspective. No one is taking such a big risk with the investment to start a school these days just for the sake of charity ! The difference between them and MES is that the others MAKE AN EFFORT to maintain good student-teacher ratios, while they continue to be business ventures. They are worried about tomorrow, and what kind of kids come out of the school tomorrow. That BASIC factor is what is missing with MES these days.

PS: All these personal insults (directed at whomever) are just immature... enough said !
