I think more delight than problems. Although I have not seen many topless women at compound pool, I've seen plenty in tiny bikinis, and there were plenty of non-Western men that were clearly thrilled to be there.
I think the assumption in many large compounds is that they are Western in spirit if not if not in fact--i.e. the non-Westerners who choose to live there accept that Western social practices prevail (alcohol, small swimsuits, etc. will be visible).
After all, like the 5 star hotel bars that routinely serve locals, these places are businesses and they fill a niche. Nothing will be done by the authorities so long as they confine the practices to the compound.
