Be Professional! Dont let your uneasiness with your supervisor affect your performance or your working relationship with your superiors, if you need to report to your manager, then you have to, even if they are in the same office. Just be civil with your supervisor, dont smirk or yell at him, show him what you can do for the company and prove yourself, if you need to double up the sales then do it, it will only not prove your worth in your company but it will benefit you as well (promotions perhaps) No need for you to take him out for lunch or dinner or sweet talk him, trust me it will only make him think bad of that gestures. ;)
Always bear in mind that your just doing your job, nothing personal ;)
