That said, the packages is ok IF it includes the following--
Housing (can run between £30-60 a year with bills depending on quality)
Car allowance
Home leave (a business class ticket each year or cash equivalent for you and wife)
Education (not an issue now, but school fees can be expensive here)
Private health (you do not want to rely on the national service)
If you get these things on top of the salary you mentioned, then it is a good offer. Otherwise, it is not worth the move as any extra salary will not offset the cost of living.
