Normally, I agree with you FathimaH, but I don't think Qatar is following much of middle path these days. Quite the contrary, it is becoming increasingly assertive on the world stage, taking clear sides in situations such as backing the rebels in Libya, sending troops to Bahrain and calling for military intervention in Syria. I'm not saying I disagree with those decision, but making them so boldly is a definite departure for Qatar and it's hardly a middle path.
