I don't know for sure..I think he's in a four engine Airbus, I thought he said he mostly flys to London ..I just saw him in Vegas a few weeks ago and the subject never came up...He actually got laid off at Emirates and was flying for some outfit called Bahrain Air or something like that until he got recalled to Sri Lanka..

While my brother was building flight time he was a flight attendant for American, based in Chicago..1979? I know he was working for them when that DC-10 went down in Chicago..
