Blosted--I think you're missing my point. I work with Qataris every day; I socialize them; and I have become quite good friends with several of them. I've been stuck in the sand and pulled out by an LC with what I assume was a Qatari kid driving it. I'm not in a position to make generalize reports about 250,000 people. Some are undoubtedly sometimes jerks; my friends are not.
What I find bizarre is that so much praise is lavished on this group of youngsters for simply doing the right and decent thing. Personally, I would think it wretched if they (or anyone else) DIDN'T stop. Again, if Indians did this, would it merit its own thread with people all falling over themselves to say how great Indians are? I think not.
My point is that we should hold all people to the same standards of human decency.
