I don't know why but had a few friends who were in this industry, but most of them have left. I know someone who is a Floor Manager in a 5-star hotel but earns less than 6K (all inclusive). You seem to be educated (your writing says a lot) why not try out in some industry where your qualifications will have a use for. Work can easily be learned except the one's which requires you to be licensed or highly specialized. You see, when you take that offer and realized to your dismay that what you got barely afford you to survive, you can't simply say I quit and I'll look for another job. No sir! My take: DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!
