Note: The country code of +224 is Guinea, and it is a scam. Do not answer or call back. In the past week or so, I've gotten 8-10 missed calls from a couple different numbers all starting with +224.
To the person who said that it is from the US - Chicago, Illinois area- it is not. Getting a call, any call, from the US would include the country code of +001 or +01 in front of the AREA code (3-digits) and then a 7-digit number.
