I don't know about the qualifications that you're talking about since it is job-specific, but what I could tell you is that in order to complete your test in MMUP and get your certificate:
A- Your university has to be on the approved list of universities at the MMUP, otherwise you'd have to bring the required paperwork in order to certify it (by yourself).
B- In order to apply, you have to have an ID number (Or residence permit number) which you don't currently possess on your visit visa.
That being said, my guess is that you will make this test after getting the job on a work visa.
As a correction to the above by melwins14 who gave a very detailed and accurate description of the process, the grading system is currently as follows:
Grade A: More than 10 years of experience
Grade B: Between 7 to 10 years
Grade C: Between 2 to 7 years
Trainee: From 0 to 2 years
The years have to be certified in order to count (except if they are spent in Qatar).
