It also depends on how much you are able to save in India now... so if you can save 700 USD... then dont bother.. at least you need to be able to double your monthly savings before deciding to come to qatar... as for the insurance I believe your company should provide some.. you aslo need to discuss your leave and annual ticket and any other allowances you may have such as transportation allowance. I also believe you can get basic medical treatment at Hamad Hospital after getting annual ID (i think it cost 100 QAR or so)
