Once you apply for KM cancellation, you should get a sms to visit the KM service center to complete your request within 3-5 working days. There they will give you a cheque for the final settlement which you can deposit in your bank account. Ideally you should start the process 7-10 days before.
Bank account is your personal account, it has nothing to do with your exit from the country.
