The DR750LW-2CH does have the unique ability to monitor input power as well as its own internal temperature, and will turn itself off should the supply voltage from the vehicle drop too low or should the DR750LW-2CH become heated up, thereby preventing any potential dead battery issues or damage due to overheating, pretty cool right? Unfortunately GPS is not built-in to the DR750LW-2CH, but that capability can be added easily by means of a tiny external GPS antenna (optional- sold separately)
