I have the same problems as someone here, i resigned form a company in Qatar then i can not go back within 2 years. I was trying everything i can and i am still trying. I am not give up yet.

Never know that is so hard like this...

I creat a MSN group
Qatar2Ysban at groups.live.com

I think the people all have the same problems can add this group and can talk about it whatever, to encourage eachother or to try to find a way or keep eachother company online.

Life is difficult, but we always can make it fun even in a hard situation.
Life is short, but we always can experience a lot whatever happness or sadness to keep our life colorful.

i saw your profile and you have completed 2 years already. you quite lucky that you have gone this far. in my case, i resigned after such deliberate confrontation with the management fighting for what i think is right. but nothing has change so decided to do the resignation. the worst case is that when i ask the hr to use the guarantee fund (actually its my money equivalent to one month salary i've worked and deducted in first month at the company) and they didn't agree to my appeal. so i cannot go home to the effective date of my resignation. how bad? i guess they are using my money investing it for their own sake!

I doubt you'll make a difference to be honest - even UN has been unsuccessul in trying to get Qatar to change these laws (they're in fact against human rights)... well, ou have my support you if that counts for anything :o) good luck!

we were banned for 2 years after my husband resigned form his work and accepted job in uae, after 2 years, we're back here again :)

@neyo1985, Qatar is not the only place to survive but once you came here you get to know good companies with high paying jobs, and that's where conflict starts as we all know the reason - no NOC being given by companies...

It's not the only place to survive but just the better one :)
