Is the 6 months away Qatar ploicy still Valid

My wife will deliver the baby in our home country.
She hold the work visa here in Qatar.
Because she will be away from Qatar around 7-8 months for baby deliver.And I heard that the work visa will be invalid if people leave the country more than 6 months even the visa is still not expired.
Any one can told me is this policy still working.or no limit for outside the country as long as the visa is not expired.
If still working.how to re-register the work visa for her.

1. If she has a seperate work visa( Not under husband sponsorship)the company is the authority to decide.
2. It is easy for the company to pay the fines and retain her back, if the VISA is still valid.
3. If she is under the sponsorship of the husband, Go to the Airport Emigration counter, which is very near to the mosque, take a form to fill in the details of the wife.
4. Do not forget to have the details, such as the date, that she left the country and a card which can dispense,
e-cash to the Emigration authorities.
5.Finally, if you are unable to read Arabic,take help from the people around.
