I am trying to obtain Qatar tourist or family visit visa for my Mom (77 years old) and my Aunt (71 years old), for just 2 days. Many times they have both traveled the world extensively (USA, Europe & many countries in Asia). They want to visit as many places they can as long as they are healthy and they can still walk.
This limit on travel due to age is DOWNRIGHT DISCRIMINATION against the senior citizens of the world. The main reason my Mom want to visit Qatar is to see me and my family, and perhaps buy some souvenirs. Is that too much to ask?
you can get the fast visa at the airport immigration office thru qatar airways but for 2 weeks could be extended for another 2 weeks we did it for over 60 year old relative
though age limit is 60 years, we did get visa approval for my dad whos now 65. we got it for a month and then got it extended for 6 months. it was rejected once but when we went to the manager of the immigration dept it was approved without much ado.
There is a general 60 years age limit. Can get special approval for people who are above 60 years from the Directors of Immigration Department who is in the Garrafah Main Immigration Dept.
