I juz nid to pour out my sentiments...

I came here with my daughter in May with family visit visa.My husband's company was to help transfer our visas to husband and father sponsorship. He offered this to my husband upon his employment and he also promised me a job in his company.

Now when we came here and as the deal goes, I worked for him as a secretary for merely three weeks because I had to stop. The company doesnt want to risk having somebody caught by the police working for them under visit visa.So I was put on hold at first for a few weeks and then before I knew it had been two months.During this tym we'd follow up on the visa status like almost everyday,The company's PRO had all our papers.

Me and my husband decided to talk to the employer about my employment and our visas. He decided to let me go saying that he was talking to some people he knows to give me a job and we shouldnt worry about the visa transfer.

We took his word and waited until the visa was processed and guess what...till this tym while Im writng here I am still burdened by the thought that me and my daughter could be going home in Nov coz thats our sixth month here on family visit visa,

I DONT know whats goin on...why cant this person JUST tell us straight that he no longer wanted to help us with our visas and just give us the papers so we could try for ourselves to have it processed.

He seem not to run out of excuses every single day.Promising this and that but nothing is happening and this person doesnt seem to care. And when we asked him to give us the papers he wouldnt give them back.

I dont know what to do...I let go of my job back home just to come here.We wasted a lot of tym and a lot of money renewing our visa monthly...for what?I AM SO ENRAGED!

Is there anyway that our stay here could get extended without having to go exit?

Im still hoping against hope that we could have our visas transfered.

We were given: Two hands to hold. To legs to walk. Two eyes to see. Two ears to listen. But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find.

Let him pay you for the return tickets for you and your kid and get you another visit visa to come back.

why arent you making him pay for your visa extensions?

i agree with saggi that this person could be really trying his best, going around, seeking help from people with influence. if you see it from this light, you wouldn't be so enraged as you are now. you would be grateful, and with some serenity, accept the fact that this is not in his hands.

surely, you must have calculated the risks you were taking, from quitting your job back home, to coming here on a visit visa, to working without legal permits, etc etc.

be grateful that you weren't caught working while on a visit visa. be grateful that he tried. be grateful that you were able to have your family together, for how long we dont know.

it's all about perspective.

The employer by the way is a good friend of my father-in-law.They have agreed that he will provide a letter that states that my husband's salary is 7,500.So I dont see any problem with that except that the bank statement that the PRO has is already behind 2 months..but if thats the problem, my husband can just get the latest bank statements since the salary transfers had been consistent.I wonder why the PRO isnt asking for the copy.

Anyway I thank you guys for hearing me out.I appreciate it.Thanks.

dear shylener816,

The problem may be because of your husbands basic salary . If it is below QR 7500 ( excluding accomodation ) there is no way anyone can help you for family status.

Rules have just become stricter since 15 August 2009 and immigration is very much wary of who is staying back and who isint..

Maybe your husbands sponsor is sincerely trying his vastaa to get the things done but is not abel to do so.

All the best
