Hi friends, I have a question.

In my wife Passport (spouse-field) my name is not mentioned, is she eligible for on arrival visa.

Hi all, I will bring my 2 month old son to Qatar. Both me and my husband have valid RP. Is it required for me to be under my husband sponsorship to be able to bring the child?

Your comments are much appreciated.

Hello friends,

My wife is sponsored by her company, and bringing newly born baby to Qatar within 90 days.

Is that compulsory for me to be there or its allowed if she is bringing the baby alone.

Please suggest

@srinaveen if you have valid RP for your family, mother is only needed at arrival to get on arrival for new born. Just give your RP copy to your wife when traveling.

hi salu, if you are not bring your baby within days for birth you go through all process from beginning, i would suggest that try to bring the baby within 90 days just carry birth certificate with you on arriving time after they arrived in Qatar go to any immigration with PP and visa application form, 1 photo for RP stamping no need to go medical commission for payment.

Dear all, can anybody tell me what happens if i couldn't bring my new born here within 90 days. Do i have to go through the whole family visa process again or can i avail on arrival visa by paying fine as stated in MOI website (i m asking this because their statement in the moi website is not clear).

@junaidmaq last week i make visa for my new born son, what i did is after getting on arrival i went to medical commision(go to family area, no need of baby, wife should go inside with babys passport and visa copy mobile number written on it). after that go to any clinic to know the blood group of baby. After go to moi site, approval tracking - you will see some details fill it if you know arabic (how many years rp you need, street adress and all) print it, paste one blue backgrnd pic of baby, go to mesaimeer or any other service. Give the printed form to the counter ( keep in hand these things: both passport copies, id copy, birth certificate copy, blood group result) and pay with your card. Finish thats it ;)

Thanks for the info.. I got a visa on arrival for my newborn son at the airport as explained above.

I am now planning to go for RP stamping but someone told me that first I need to go for medical registration at Abu Hamour, then I need to get a blood group report from some hospital in Doha.. only after that I can go for RP stamping.. the original post does not say anything about these requirements.

Can someone having recent experience share some info? Do I need to go for medical before RP stamping?

Hi All,

Can someone please confirm if it is mandatory to travel via Qatar Airways to avail this visa?

And does the birth certificate need any attestation if both father and mother are present and mother is under father's sponsorship?

Thanks..

dear sagaya as per my experience i brought my 68 days old son on arrival visa, they will issue 1 month visa for your baby.you should carry original birth certificate. and father and Mother should be present on arrival.

once they arrived in qatar you should go to garraffa main immigration (better you go to morning shift) for RP stamping

you just carry following doc.

PP and RP copy for mother and father

filed application copy

photo of the baby

original birth certificate (no need attestation)

Note: they will issue only 1 one year Residence permit for your baby and 400 Qr for cost of the RP
