Attestation of medical certificate
I got sick during my visit to India and i have medical certificate of my doctor.Now, here in Qatar my employer is saying to attest certificate from indian embassy and foriegn affairs. I went indian embassy and they have stamped.but, when i reached to foriegn affairs department which is situated behind Al safeer Hotel,they did not stamp and advice me to attest from DElhi.Please advice me the procesure if our lovely friends have.

Medical certificate to be attested from embassy and foreign affairs?? if you still have symptums of your sick go to Hamad hospital and take a confirmation and do not go for this bull shit procedures to get attested from Delhi? you may pay more than your one month salary for this.
@ awkhan, I think his/her employer is trying to ensure the medical document proving the employee was really sick is a genuine document.
Dear, first I did not understand why do you want to register your medical certy? If you want to use it for your employer go and get it from medical commision.you have to pay some fees and they will give you fitness certy which is enough for your employer instead of going long procedure of your Indian certy.
Our embassy is attesting, it does not means that said certy is legal document and look that attestation what kind of endorsement embassy wrote.foreign affairs is only checking that the seal and signature of our embassy is ok, they are not giving gaurentee that said certy have legal stand but saying that this certy is registered @ embassy.
so easy thing is get letter from your employer and go to medical comission , have a fresh examination and get it from their.
