Can a daughter sponsor her parents living in Qatar?

Hello, hope someone on here can help answer my question.

My parents each have a residency permit to live in Qatar. But they are going to retire from their work soon. Can I, as their single daughter, sponsor them to continue living in Qatar for some time? I am employed and sponsored by my own company.

Any help/information would be much appreciated.

Many thanks!

Hi Sophia- yes u can sponsor your parents even if your single. I have done it..

All you need to do is the below.

Complete application form in Arabic

Sponsor's passport copy and RP page/ Copy of Qatar ID

Letter from sponsor's employer stating profession and salary

Valid passport copy of the visitors

Document to prove relationship (birth certificate, passport)

Also a copy of tenancy contract/Kahramaa bill as proof of where the visitor will be staying while in Qatar.

Submit the above documents at the closest MoI centre.

The Visa will be valid for one month and can be extended for Qr 200 per month post the Medical test .

A fee of QR.200 applied for each visa, QR.50 for each registered dependent or companion.

Thanks, Mary. I'll do that. I'm guessing not many people have had to sponsor their parents. Shame. Would have been interesting to hear from their experiences.
