Desperately need help!
Hi!
Desperately need your help. My husband is working in Qatar for over a month. He currently holds a visit visa which will expire in August. He was hired here in the Philippines and signed a work contract for 2 years. He's unhappy in his job and want to leave and transfer to his friend's company. Questions:
- Can he leave his current company and transfer to another company without an NOC?
- How much will he need to pay his empolyer for all expenses incurred in his one month stay with them.
- How should he go about it? Does he need to resign, pay all the expenses and come home to the Phlippines then go back after 6 months?
Will appreciate all immediate comments and suggestions. Thank you!
my idea abt this are first, haven't u had ur medical & finger printing for ur residence? if not. good. because u can possibly return to doha if u have it and it will reflect in ur new visa application from the new company. now. if yes. u can't. so u have to speak to ur immediate for u to be able to return to manila. that's the time ur friend can ask for visa for u bcoz u have exit in doha.
It is better to endure the hardship of education than to taste the bitterness of ignorance.
Well he can leave and then return on his friend's sponsorship.

I heard this morning that they are not issuing any business visas for 3 months for Filipinos. 3 I know are stuck in bahrain after doing the visa run and we cant get them back in for 3 months.
How can you husband signed a 2 year contract when he is a visit visa holder ?
When the going gets tough the tough gets going.....
as far as i know. he can leave the company anytime since he is still on a business visa. But in most cases he has to pay all the expenses his employer spent in getting him from manila, ie ticket, visa etc. etc.
he can comeback to doha anytime since he was not issued a working visa yet.
Tell him to talk to his employer immediately and politely. He has to go out of Doha and comeback on another visa (visit or business).
