do i get business visa while prossessing for a resident visa?

Hi all,

i am an indian.i am here for last 6 months. I am on business visa now . when i am asking about my permanant visa to my co. they are telling me that ,it is under processing. can they apply for a business visa for me while processing for my permanant visa.

It is easier for them to make your permanent resident visa if they already have the approval for this.

But i think there is something missing,try to push them more. they will do it fast and easy if everything is Ok.
