Do I have to do Medical Test twice for Visit Visa & Residence Permit for Family?

I have brought my family on visit visa and got it extended for 1 month and while extending the visit visa I have got the medical done for them. I am converting visit visa to residence permit in less than 10days from the last medical report. I need to know whether my family needs to do again the medical for getting RP.

They need to go for medical again but after filling the forms and paying the charges, let the one in counter know that they have already done medical for visit visa extension. They will then just send you to the another room to put the regt.no of last medical results in the current form and that is it. No need to undergo blood tests and Xray again.
