Dear Members of QL,

I have question bearing in mind and I need to sort it out with your presice answer.

I am working here in Doha for about 3 months as an accountant. My wife is also here and working for 6 months in another company. My wife is crying to me and telling that she missed our son very much. Since I thought that my salary and my wifes' salary would be sufficient enough for us to live here in doha with my son plus some of my relatives are also here and especially my mother, I decided to bring my son here to stay and live together.

My son is 2 years 2 days old. I'd plan to send him here accompanied by my brother and my cousin. All I want to know is how and what are the requirements, documents needed, minimum salary or any other things for my son to come here???

Please comment your answer reliable for the current year.

Thanking you in advance...

It's nice to find you here in Qatar Living Forum Uragon2012 you cheered me up and thank you Poging Juan for posting your query here. I just wanna share my present case to you guys. My father-in-law here in Qatar was applied and got an approval for a visit visa for my wife and my son under to his sponsorship and they can come starting from February 2014. I came here since January 3, 2014 but since I don't have a QID yet, I just let my father-in-law to do that for them first. My question is, can I also apply and obtain for a Family Residence Visa/or RP for them without exiting Qatar since they are under my father-in-law's sponsorship when entering Qatar within the validity period of their visit visa? After completing those required documents listed above what will be the next steps. May be you can share more in details Uragon2012? Thanks and God bless you.
