Family visit visa Lebanese

Hello. Does anyone have any idea about whether there is any Block on Lebanese obtaining family visit visa??

I was in qatar on a visit since no Residence permit is possible for Lebanese at the moment. My visa expired and i had to go to Lebanon in the summer and it seems impossible to come back to Qatar. My husband applied 2 months ago and still it is Under Process.

Could anyone clarify why is it taking so long?

Hey mjkop005, its sad to hear abt your struggle. I know how hard it is as we went through the same. but after lots of tries, we got it luckily. Qatar is a small country and they take considerable care of issuing visa's to expats, could be to keep an eye on population..

Keep trying, be cool and humble, you will get it eventually. that's what I have experienced.

He helped us with Visit Visa. Not sure if he can help on RP,perhaps RP approval might not be under his authority. In the "family residence section" in another building in immigration, you can inquire about the RP & they will help or direct you what to do.

Btw: Sorry, I am not able to recall building numbers over there:(

My husband tried that but they told him they can't do anything it is in Jihet Amniyeh and that the process has bren changed bla bla... this is so tiring. He is American and we thought this shall make things easier... I swear if I was in America I would have gotten my greencard already. I wanted to live in a place close to home and we found Qatar but this is extremely ridiculous. Why do we need to beg people at 6 am to get a visit visa!! This is really sad... I wonder how long shall we wait more

I forgot the building #, but when you enter the main immigration, on the left side, the 1st building is the one. he sits in the second floor up. there will be a policeman, just tell him you have this this this issue and I want to meet Mr. Nasir. Be humble with policeman as he might not let you meet the big boss ;-)

Your husband need to visit Main Immigration office in Gharrafa and meet Mr. Nasir Athiya. He should go early and by 6am he should be in main immigration. It might be hard to meet Mr. Nasir as he is busy but he is a good man and often approves. We had the same issue, we went few times there, eventually met Mr. Nasir and got his approval. I must say its very tough these days for some nationalities to get visa in Qatar, even visit visa but try try again, nothing we as public can do about it except keep trying.
