Hi, I've been going through the forums thoroughly and have noticed tht there is a restriction to parents aged >60yrs on issuance of visit visas.

I just want to know that is it IMPOSSIBLE to get one issued ....

Even when we get to meet the medical director for allowing us issuance of the visa .... Do we have a HIGH risk of rejection still

Can someone share their personal experience regarding this matter as I have bee nquite confused and troubled regarding this situation which I was very unaware of in the first place.

btw I am on a work visa and will be sticking around in Doha for next couple of yrs. I really need to bring my mother here as she id quite dependant on me !

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you all!

No its not impossible, My Mother in law is living with us and she is 60 +. I guess it also depend upon nationality. We extend her visa every month, at times they reject, then we again apply , and it get accepted :-)....luck may be....
