Thanks guys, but there is no Qatar Embassy nearby...only in the USA and for the five star hotel...I live here so it would be nice to have her in my place and much cheaper. Does anybody know what to do or someone who has been in the same situation...It's frustrating..she's my best friend and we can't figure out how to get a tourist visa from South America to visit Qatar..
As far as I know, to have your friend have a tourist visa, book him/her to a 5-star hotel. The hotel will be able to provide visa assistance to your friend. Why a 5-star hotel? I believe they won't ask too much from the immigration because of the reputation of the said hotel (no offense to other hotels). Try to call the hotels and they will be more willing to answer your questions.
