Going to Qatar witth a Tourist Visa

Hi,

I'm planning to go to Qatar (from the Philippines) this October to visit a friend. My friend will be helping me to get a Tourist Visa through a travel agency based in Doha (i think the name is Cleopatra Travels). My concern is, would I not encounter any problem in immigration if i will just hold a tourist visa? I heard somewhere that some people were hold off in the immigration because they're just a tourist visa holder. Why would tourist visa holders be hold off in the immigration? Is anyone here familiar with Cleopatra Travels? I'd really appreciate any information. Thanks!

to interview and ask certain relevant question to people coming inside their country. And there are specific questions for people holding working, business, tourist or whatever visa a person hold.

Actually, it should be also done in port of exit just to remind anyone who travels that specific visa for specific purpose! Hope you get my message!

I think as of the moment its very difficult to travel with a tourist visa as Ive read in newspapers in the Philippines the president ordered the bureau of immigration to be strict with those people holding tourist visa to minimized human trafficking as the news told that's why 400 people had been hold in the immigration because of this case.

I visited Qatar on a tourist visa three times (within a period of 5 months) and never had any problems.

I got my visa through Qatar embassy and I strongly advise that (it just looks better when you go through official embassy).

If you are genuinely a tourist, you have nothing to worry about! don't listen to people ;o)
