HELP! Complicated case on work and visa issue
By purpleruthie •
Fiance is currently in Doha working for a company. We learned that the company does not give NOC to its employees. Fiance plans to finish his 1 year contract.
Now, i have an offer to work in Doha. Fiance and I are set to get married this year. Questions:
1. As the wife, may I be able to sponsor my husband back to Doha (i meet the requirement of having QR 7000 per month) under a spouse visa or something?
2. Will my husband be able to work in Doha again even if he doesn't have NOC from his previous company?
I seriously need your inputs on this. Thanks!
Thanks for your inputs. I really appreciate it. Should there be other options or insights, please feel free to share.
It is nearly impossible for women to sponsor their husbands....even if you are at a very senior position... I have seen it getting rejected... so dont plan your move expecting that you can sponsor your husband...
As stated by Qatarisun... he surely will need a NOC to work...If he leaves Qatar and comes back.. the time duration should atleast be 2 years before he can start working in Qatar again.
it is still very hard for females to sponsor their husbands. In your case I don't see it to happen.
First. salary of 7000 is not enough in any case. even for man it should be 7500 EXCLUDING accommodation.
Second. Your visa should have a family status, which i doubt your company will agree with.
Third. Your position should be really high position, not just some "client executive" or even "marketing manager", or so. It should be some really senior and very important position.
And hey, sorry for saying it, but nationality is also playing some certain role in it..
and surely, no any way for him to work without NOC letter.
the only solution for him is to get a NOC. let him focus on this goal.
btw, why he just wouldn't stay with the same company? why he needs a NOC even?
