It means "under process" for 8 months? Which are good as nothing. If I were you, I'd rather look for another opportunity somewhere. Don't waste your time waiting for it, even if it's a high paying job. As a Jordanian, you will hardly be granted a work visa at Immigration, especially if its a Government job. I wish you luck in another place.
