their just taking you for a ride it does not take eight months for a visa look somewhere else
look for another job. There are no work visas for jordanians.. sorry, eh?
Qatar is not issuing work visas to Jordanians these days

It means "under process" for 8 months? Which are good as nothing. If I were you, I'd rather look for another opportunity somewhere. Don't waste your time waiting for it, even if it's a high paying job. As a Jordanian, you will hardly be granted a work visa at Immigration, especially if its a Government job. I wish you luck in another place.
