I am trying to help a friend with his work visa. His current company has gone out of business and has given him a NOC letter & 2 weeks to find a new sponsor.

Are there private residents who are willing to sponsor him? or are there any businesses that provide this type of service?

He has been working here 5 years and would like to stay if at all possible. He is working part time now but that company is not able to sponsor him. So he is really not looking for full time work, just a sponsor that can provide the necessary work visa.

yes definitely there is but the problem is, is he willing to pay between 5000-10000 riyals so that he will get a private sponsor.

islandgirl, you do understand that what you are asking for for your friend is an illegal visa? Under Qatar Labor Law you must work for the employer/company that is your sponsor. "Free" visas are illegal and an open invitation to extortion.
