Is Marital status for liquor license necessary

Recently I heard some people (especially in indl area, I heard more 1 nationality, but not disclosing here) take some cleaning liquid instead of alcohol. Its cheap for them & gives a good booz.

I dont know the name... but when I talked to my friends they also agree they have heard of it

NOC letter must cover all the below mentioned details ... get this typed on your company letter head and signed by your HR manager or anyone who is authorized to sign on company letter head or your sponsor

Mr. xxxxxxxxxx receives a monthly Basic salary of QAR x0000(Qatari Riyal xxxx Thousand Only) and receives housing allowance of QAR xx00 (Qatari Riyal xxx Thousand Only).

We have No Objections for you to issue him liquor license with no liability to our company.

If you receive company accommodation instead of housing allowance ... mention that in the letter.

Take this to QDC along with your Passport/Qatar ID card.

Fill a form (at QDC office), give QR.1000 ... they will take a photo of you on a cheap camera ... and in 10 - 15 mins will give you your Liquor Permit card.

Do NOT drink and drive.

NOC from your sponsor need not necessarily mention the salary....in the abscence of it, a minimum amount will be fixed which is good enough and you can always make multiple run to refill. And, QR1000/- one time deposit is a refundable deposit.

It's not always necessary that every new person in DOHA should be aware of the legal formalities or the procedures..

Even i or YOU were also the NEWLY ARRIVED in doha few years back..right?? so just chillax!!

As per question goes :

Letter from your sponsor stating your designation with your salary (All Allowances Must Be Included)

Copy of RP from your passport

QR.1000/- (One time deposit)

Go to QDC, fill up the form, submit all the above.

If approved, you will be granted the permit in 15min.

Only Divorcee can apply :/

Why the hell do you assist a stupid guy to become more stupid? If he doesn't know how to apply for a permit, enabling him to get one, will only result in him getting drunk and lose more of his brain cells.

Bring along QR1000 for deposit money

Are liquor license only issued to family ppl.

Also i would like to know the format for the NOC for liquor license.

Go to QDC, pick up a from. the requirements are on the form.

Do we need an NOC from our house owner since the villa is not in my name, will it b a problem??.

The NOC comes from your sponsor only.

Go and find out where they distribute liquor at Abu Hamour they will be having form to be filled and the necessary document u require to submit but u need a NOC from your company and your ID card the profession mentioned on ur ID.

Sungle or married is not a matter, To get Liqour permit just u need a noc letter from your sponser or HR manager with mention you designation and salary.

Also noc from house owner is not required for liqour permit.
