Maximum period outside Qatar to keep RP

All, need your help.

For my faily (obviously on my sponsorship), what is the maximum periods allowed outside the country without losing their Residence Permit ?

Is it 1 month on the current year, 6 month or no limitation as long as I am still a resident ?

Maximum of six month

MAXIMAM SIX MONTH ONLY WITH OUT PENALITY,

The maximum allowable period is 6 months without any penalty, however; you can extend this limit to one year or before the expiry of the visa by paying fee at immigration. I am not too sure about the fee but I guess it is QR 500 per passport.

Less than 6 months...if they overstay more than that their RP will be cancelled and you will have to do all the paperwork again.
