Medical wooes....
Hi guys,
I am Surya, An Indian expat, Working with a reputed company as a Proposal Engineer. I am facing issue with the medical. Since the first time X-ray was not clear, I was asked to do the repeat X-ray, 1 week later. After i was done with Repeat X-ray, 4 days later, I was again asked to come to Medical Centre for PPD Test which I done, After 2 days again I went to MC, and my PPD reading was 14 mm. They asked me to visit the MC on next Monday (After 3 days). What is my status now?? Can anyone guide me.
I have never had any medical history for TB or any other long term illness, I am completely fit enough to perform my duties and my nature of work in Doha is purely only inside he office. I was already done my medical in India which did not indicate anything suspicious.
Please someone from Medical commission respond me back what is my status? Can I get the RP? Can I be proceeded to the next level called Finger Printing??
Regards,
Surya
dont worry , i had same issues, some times we asian origins expats, mostly all have extra pulmonary exposure for TB patients, so we may have PPD positive, just chill, they may do another test naming:Gold Test or Quantiferon test. As far as my knowledge, unless and until evidence and symptoms shows pulmonary infection with TB nothing to worry.

do all test now its better to discover problems ( if you have any ) early . that will is good for you
