I got family visa 2 years back, now I want to renew my wife's visa. But my PRO asked me to go back to the labour dept for approval. But the problem is that now the salary bracket is Qr. 7,000. but my current salary is 6,200.00. Is this going to affect my application for renewal of Visa. Please advise???

Sure.. It will affect you.. Kindly ask your sponsor to give contract copy by mentioning your salary as 7000 or 7500 riyals.. Because you have apply for approval how you did earlier (i.e., 2 years before you applied). So better to ask your sponsor to give letter as you are working there and you are getting 7000+ salary... Then you can submit your application to LABOUR DEPARTMENT.

I don’t agree with HMS.

This is the fact:

Based on ur nationality and ur own visa duration ur family visa duration is approved. u got 2 years which is fine, I assume from this u r from India or Pakistan or Bangladesh. Europeans get 5 years etc.

You just have to submit an extension application to Labour dept without having to go there. It will take about 3 - 5 working days for approval.

Don't worry it hardly gets rejected.

I dont think so, because majority of the companies, initially takes approval for family visas only for first two years, so after two years u have to renew it, infact company has to do it and your PRO should do this, instead of you going, anyway even if u go then also this will not be an issue, as u are already staying here with your family things will happen smoothly and your visa will be extended further, not an issue at all
