Need advice please
Hi,
We are a french family with 3 childrens.Atually, we live in France and with my husband we want to take a sabatical vacation for one year to apply to the University of Qatar to learn Arabic. But,the problem is the childrens visa.Indeed, a student can't sponsorise childrens.
So, I would like to know what could we do?
A visit visa for 6 months and try to find a job to sponsorise our childrens? And can I enroll the childrens to the franch school with a visit visa?
Thank you for your advice.
God bless you.
Lynda
Hi,
Thanks for your advice. We want to go to Qatar not only for learn Arabic.we want, in the future leave France to live in an arabic country or muslim country. We already go to Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Turquey and Malaisia for holidays. But now, we want to discover Qatar.
But, it seems very hard to enter in this country.thank you.
arabic learning, that u can do at ur home country also, then why u are taking too much risk for that.here visa procedures are little bit complicated.Think..........then take a decision.
surely you can learn Arabic in France???...or somewhere closer to home, what's so special about learning Arabic here???...because as Mandi rightly put, there will be a LOT of issues to deal with it without an RP,for sure, your kids will not be able to enroll in ANY school on a visit visa, you won't be able to get a driver's lisence,etc...i suggest you not waste time & money & learn Arabic @ home, cheaper & easier solution...
I'm not sure this will work out. You and the children can only come in on tourist visas for one month each time. You cannot enroll the kids in schools. There are issues with bank accounts, drivers' licenses and buying cars if you don't have an RP. And frankly, there are better places to learn Arabic than Qatar!
