New Rules and Regulation for Tourist visa?
does anybody have current information regarding rules and regulations for tourist visas. before first time it was issued for 14 days and then it was extendable for next 14 days. now the first issuance is for one month, is there anybody who can tell me about first extension of this one month tourist visa to qatar....
pilengr and Delfaizha, yes, there IS something wrong with this system - it is illegal! It is illegal to buy and sell visas. It's not that this agency is rude or lacking in customer service, it is that if they are selling you visas under false pretences (such as a tourist or visit visa for you to find/engage in employment) then they and you are committing an illegal act. Don't worry about the rules and laws of Qatar if you have broken them in the first place because they don't and won't apply. I hope you escape from these clutches with (most of) your money and your freedom. And please tell your friends that to work in Qatar you must have a job offer, a visa and a plane ticket - in that order!

Actually, it's not really extension. U are going to buy a new visa. I was in Fahd Travels this morning to ask for a colored photocopy of my passport. They wont let me borrow my own passport even if i leave an amount of money. They all shouted at me. A black arab & an indian men talked in arabic about me infront of my face. That's how bad this agency is.
IS there something wrong with FAHAD. they say I need to exit to extend visa..is that true..

Brownlime, is MARIA and MARJ one & the same? Is she a Visayan-Filipina with a big mole on her face? Now i know, i wasn't the only victim. She should not work in a travel agency or any customer service type of job. She must work in a wet market. I respect a saleslady more than her.

Earlier we got it for 1 month and extended it twice, so after 3 months you had to leave the country. There have been a change right before Christmas and you can only extend it once. But my daughter arrived on 31.01 and then she got 60 days right away. Have only seen this once though.
hey i dont think you really have to exit. my wife started off with tourist visa here, and we extended it twice without her leaving the country. i think you have to pay some money at the immigr. at the airport. and secondly, it depends on what country you are from . the law is more relaxed for some countries than others.
No ways for tourist VISA u must exit & enter again.
there is no extension and its only 28days, after this period you must exit. and you must have relative of same family name in qatar.
