Hi All,

wish you happy new year,,,

I've applied to a job and they asked my documents (my passport - my family member's passports - my experience certificates - salary certificate) but they neither asked for a police clearance or personal photos.
does anyone till me what should I expect since I was waiting for 2 months and the representative of the recruitment agency calls me in a weekly basis and says "it is in process sorry for the inconvenience and I'd like to know if you are still interested or not.

waiting your kind advice,,,,

thanks

Read my post again please. I think I specifically said don't give your passport copy "BEFORE" you have a legitimate contract.

Hey. NEVER give your passport copy for visa application before you get a signed & attested contract in your hand.

It is a frequent problem for people to come here under some company's sponsorship only to find out that their labor contract does not match the offer based on which they came to Qatar (usually lower salary).

Worse of all, you will not be able to return to Qatar or accept other employment while in Qatar if the employer backs out of the agreement.

Your recruitment agency it taking you for a ride!

Hi Guys,

sorry if my post is not clear enough, I'm not in Qatar yet and i asked the recruitment agency's representative to get the offer first and then I would provide u with the documents as done with me 2008 at the same bank but he told me that this is the new system and i had to submit the documents immediately.

so i did and waiting for the offer and the visa since October, only his weekly calls as well as some similar situations for some QLer's with the same bank give me the power of patience,

but need your advice to tell me if such process is normal and the submitted documents are enough to get the work visa.

thanks for you all

are you in Qatar? is that a sponsorship transfer? or is that a new Work visa for you? What the process are you going through?

If you are out of Qatar and it's a new work visa, they don't need your Police clearance.

And what do they need your photo for? your passport copy contains your photo i guess...
