Hi, here’s my question. I just started the process to get a H1b visa and I would like to know if anybody has been in my situation.
I'm from Qatar. I have Diploma in Computer Application. I also have 5 years of experience as a systems analyst. When I applied to a US firm and they said they don’t know about my college and doesn’t recognize it. Please help me what needs to be done now.
I'm afraid this will cause some problems with my H1 application. If anybody out there has been in this situation, I would appreciate your experience... Thanks

In the US universities do not generally issue "diplomas." Your problem may stem from your institution not being a university.

Your degree or diploma should be from a recognized university and it should have endorsement from the respective authorities or departments especially for the US & UK employment processes.

H1b visa is like residence visa, allowed to work in US sponsored by the company but not immigrant.
