PTB SCAR UPDATE

Hello there,

Is there anyone who can help or give some advise what to do regarding the SCAR on the LUNG. My wife comes here in Qatar thru a visit visa, luckily she found an employer who hires her. She had her medical, unfortunately her X-ray shows scars due to PTB, will this matter will force her to go back home and not to obtain a working permit, what normally happen once an employee seeking for RP diagnose with this kind..PLeaSE advise,, your input will give us a lot of help..

Maraming salamat kathang-isip, however, my wife comes here in doha thru a tourist visit visa and not thru my sponsorship. She already got work here and her employer is the one who send her for the medical examination. Then yun na nga after her medical test it show that she have PTB scar. Another test of Xray was done to her and we are waiting for the result. We just want to be familiar what are the consequences that it may cause so we could prempt the situation. Hope you guyz there could help us and give some advises..

ur wife will undergo additional test to confirm if she has TB.Sputum test,and maybe one that will require culturing specimen from your wife just to prove accurate diagnosis.a scar on the lung might warrant 6 months of medication even if test results are negative for TB.

i don't know the rules now,before...as long as you sponsored her,she stays here and undergoes treatment.i heard they are more strict now.if she indeed has TB,it will be difficult for her to find a job.The TB clinic where they will refer you can give you advise whether your wife can work or not.
