REACTIONS AND ADVICE PLEASE

this is the situation.i am currently working here in qatar.i came here in qatar with a bussines visa,and was hired by one company and my visa was trasfer into working visa.now i want to make a resignation with my current company but the problem is the company doesnt want to give me release N O C.some are saying that the company should give release to me because i am locally hired and it is in qatar labour law.another thing is i just got married with my husband.my husband can sponsor me but the company also refuse to give N O C.if i resigned with the company and got my visa cancelled...can my husband sponsor me in husband visa..

i agree with you abynel-

if your company cancelled your visa no need to worry.no need for NOC

your husband just need to prepare all the necessary documents for him to be able to sponsor you.

no as long as you out of the country and your company visa is canceled your husband could applied visa for you

im still here in qatar...under company sponsorship...but as ive said im planning to resign...so there is no problem with it that i am going to be cancelled by company...no time or months applicable for applying new visa for me....because my visa was just cancelled by company and going to apply as husband sponsor..thanks for replying..

are you in back in qatar??? well when my husband apply for my sponsorship...after a day we already saw in the web that it was approved but normally after 4 days your husband will be back in labor for confirmation if your application has been approved he will go to immigration so more or less 2 to 3 weeks.

thanks abynel it really helps a lot..yes my husband can sponsored me the salary braket is 7000 right...so hes having more of that...but one more question ms abynel...how long do you think it would take..is there no problem if i just got cancelled by company a month a go then we are applying for husband visa...

well my friend is also company sponsored before...she resigned and went back home...yes her husband is here actually his husband is my officemate and friend so he usually ask me to take over his work to go to immigration hehehhehehe anyway he applied family visit visa for her wife. when she arrived here he applied immediately husband sponsorship for her then now she is working and they even brought their son here.i really hope sharing this stuff helps you...just be sure your husband has the salary bracket need at the labor

yes miss tess i know that if company give n o c it can be easly transfered to spouse visa but the fact is the company dont want to give n o c.so i want to resigned from them and automatically they will cancelled my visa right..then i need to go home then...so what i want to clear is can i come back here with my husband sponsorship.

anything to help esther...coz my sponsorship was transferred to husband sponsor because i have my noc but you have same case with my friend. wishing you the best of luck

You are right, she will be able to work in a company that does not require transfer of sponsorship for new joiners.

But some other companies require transfer of sponsorship (which might be applicable to male staff only).

i cant work without N O C..from company..even im already in husband sponsor..because the company will cancelled me and i will go back to my county...then hes planning to sponsor me as husband sponsor..it that possible

k_sama sorry to disagree with you but as i know she could still work ...keep in mind that when she come back here she will be on husband sponsor and don't need any documents from his previous employer

yes.... first you need to go out of the country then tell you husband to apply for family visit visa so you could com back right away then once your back ask your husband to apply husband sponsorship right away...all you nee is the his and your passport, marriage contract, school cert. NOC of his company, salary cert and bank statement. not sure for the other paper

As far as i know, your husband can sponsor you but you will not be able to work without NOC.

One more thing, you are not considered a locally hired staff since you entered Qatar using business visa.

Locally hired staff are those who used to live in Qatar with a resident permit .

Someone might correct me if i'm wrong.

Yes! if your visa will be cancelled by your present company you can leave Qatar and come back with your husband sponsorship.
