Regarding Business Visa

Greetings!

I am an Indian and have a Business Visa for Qatar valid for 3 months. I have been informed that the Visa validity starts once I land in qatar or after stamping at the airport.
I see the dates 10 Sep to 09 Dec on the Visa itself.
So I am confused whether the visa is valid only till 09 Dec or is it the expiry to fly to qatar?

If I am not wrong the dates seen on visa are the dates to fly down to qatar and after stamping the actual validity starts...????

Also, do I need to buy a return ticket if I am going qatar on a business visa???
Does Business visa require an 'Exit permit' from the sponsor????
Can I extend the Visa for another 3 months if required???

Note: Since I need an appropriate answer, PLEASE, only experienced/qualified members reply to my question.
Thank you All!

When you are looking for any visa services always choose a reputed company with good sponsor. *Don’t get troubled by a visa seller who may offer a cheaper rate*

Chances are more for a company to get blocked or canceled by the government the more they sell visas. If your visa issued company got similar problems while you are inside Qatar, it will affect your visa renewals and sometime for your exit also. So be careful.

*Don’t trust any visa advertisement* but try to find out good agents through any of your friends or family members who have been living in Qatar. Or go with agents who have good recommendation from the experienced people.

Good Luck to all who wish to visit Great Qatar…!!!

Sir,

I came to Qatar in a work-business visa in 10 Feb 2014. Then I extended 2 times. So now my visa expires on 8 May 2014. I am an Indian National. Sir, My Question is, After my exit on 8 May 2014, Can I take a new visa in 2 or 3 days and come back to Qatar? If possible, Do I have to exit to India only?

One on the ticket , which I am pretty much sure, you need a return ticket if you are coming to qatar on a business visa. The problem is not here in Qatar, but immigration officials at Indian airports do ask for a Return ticket if the visa that you hold is a Visit visa, and for that matter the wordings on a Qatar Business Visa are "Business Visit". I have been in and out of Qatar on Business visa for quite a number of times, and this has been my experience.

Thanks Guys... I completely understand the procedure now.

I understand the Business Visa! :)

I am also planning to move to qatar permanently on Job.

Since I will be on business visa I have plans to search for a good job simultanously. If I get one I will try and see if I can get the exit from the sponsor and be back on a new job/work visa.

If I have a work visa and my sponsor/first employer releases me then am I free to join any company anytime and still let the sponsorship be with the first employer only??

Thankyou Again...

1. you do not need to exit qatar (and obviously you don't need an exit permit) every time when you want to extend the visa, i.e. you will stay in qatar 90 days contiguously

2. After 90 days if your sponsoring company wants you to continue working here, they will issue an exit permit for you, and you have to exit qatar for the time that is necessary to issue another Visa. And this depends on your company. Visa can be issued basically in 1 hour. Or one week might be spent on it... Depends on PRO...

.. and yes, you can go to Bahrain or Dubai... But you don't have to worry abotu it. Your company should carry all the expenses regarding your movements.

You have to exit after 90 days only and not after 30 days. You can go anywhere for exit not necessarily your home country. I have always come to India though, I am on one such exit currently..

Thank you Qatarisun and sandeep for your reply.

Qatarisun I understand.

I am leaving for qatar on 21st OCT 2009...so my visa will be valid for 30 days i.e., till 20th Nov 2009.

I will extend the visa for another 60 days (30+30) i.e., till 20th Jan 2010.

Do I need an exit every time I extend the visa or only when leaving after completing 90 days????

(I mean, do I need an exit to extend the visa every 30 days??)

Also, lets say I have completed 90 days in qatar and need more time...my sponsor is ready to issue me another business visa. In this case can I visit neighboring country like Behrain for couple of days and return qatar on new business visa??? (instead coming back to india)

Thank you guys.

Muzaffer.

You need to buy a return ticket. The duration of Visa will start from the day you enter the country. The Visa is for one month which can be extended twice for 1 months each before you have to exit the country. You can then come back on a business visa and the process repeats itself. As far as I know, Exit permit is required from your sponsor even with a business visa, not 100 % certain about that though..

1. Dates from Sep 10 to Dec 09 indicate the period when you can enter qatar with this Visa. After Dec 09 it is expired and you cannot enter the country, you will have to issue another visa in this case.

2. Let's say you entered Qatar on October 15th. From this Date of Entry you are entitled to stay in qatar for 30 days, in our case till November 15th.

3. Before Nov 15 Business Visa can be exstended for another 30 days, and once again for another 30 days. Your sponsor can do it at the same day.

So entire period of staying in qatar once you entered the country is 90 days.

4. If you were staying in qatar more than 30 days(i.e. your Visa has been extended) you will need an Exit permit signed by your sponsor. If you leave qatar within first 30 days (Visa was not extended) you do not need the Exit prmit.

You do NOT have to have a return ticket at the moment of entering Qatar, as usually sponsor cannot predict exactly when the mission of the particular employee will be completed in Qatar. Your sponsor can buy a ticket later, when the date of exit is defined.
