Hi,

I am employee associated with a company for more than 4 years now. As of now I have an intention of changing my employer, however my present employer is not in a favor of granting NOC / Release. Can someone tell me whether i am eligible to obtain a release from my present employer. What I need to do to convince my present employer to grant me NOC / release. Its been now close to 5 years now I am working for my present employer and for better prospect I thought of changing my employer. Can someone guide me how I can go about with this issue

If you are locally hired from Qatar, you have your right to get release and you are supported with law you can file a case in labour dept. if they recruited you from your country or provide you visa, it is their choice to release you. Only begging is the best option. beg as much you can?!!

Depending on your nationality , if you from Europe,USA,...etc, then report to your embassy they will force them to give u NOC.

Good Luck

Its employer choice for you to grant NOC or Release...

All you can do is request, if they refuse than continue with your work or resign and go back to your country. You can enter Qatar again after 24 months without NoC or release.

I afraid this is entirely at the discretion of your present employer, they cannot be forced to give you and NOC. To change employer without NOC you will have to leave the country for 2 years before you can come back.
