REQUIRMENT OF NIA-POEA FOR BUSINESS VISA

Can anyone give me advise please.
I requested my company to arrange visit visa for my husband to join me for a month or two. yet, they said it is quite difficult and long process. Instead, they will issue Business Visa for him which they started the processing today.

Since i heard a lot of unfortunate situations regarding the holding of passenger in NIA by POEA personnel, it makes me think twice. Should i take or just let this chance pass.
Can anyone advise me what papers to prepare so I can relay it to my company.
I should grab this one chance to let him come and join me here in Christmas season and our wedding anniversary before he will fly to NZ as he is also holding a visa that will expire mid January.
Thanks in advance.

OK for me, I'm not a prisoner that has to pay corrupt officials for my human right to travel. I guess that is why that man in Hong Kong called Filipinos the servants of the world because they just accept things like this. When will you wake up and do something about it.

They stop us to try to extort money from us ok?

So why do Filipino officals stop Filipinos travelling out of the country as long as their passport is valid and they have a valid visa? Is the Philipinees a prison or something?

family visit visa does not need the NOC of your company. just ask a copy of your salary certificate and attach the other documents and submit it to the immigration...btw. you still have enough time to process it.

The business visa should be accompanied by an invitation letter from your company..that would make it look legit to the eyes of the vultures

even if this is for business he can still state with the immigration that this is the only visa that they can provide him since this is the company of his wife so it is better to have it when he tries to get out of manila. remember the statement that your husband is going to be telling the immigration is to visit you and not only for business.it is better to tell the truth and let them feel that your hubby will not be searching for work here. :)

YOU CAN APPLY FOR HIM A FAMILY VISIT VISA INSTEAD OF YOUR COMPANY BUSINESS VISA. YOU JUST HAVE TO PROVIDE A SALARY CERTIFICATE FROM YOUR COMPANY, A COPY OF YOUR MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE AND A COPY OF PASSPORT FOR BOTH OF YOU. WITH THAT FAMILY VISIT VISA, YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY FOR HIM BECAUSE BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION IN THE PHILIPPINES WILL NOT HOLD HIM UNLIKE HAVING A BUSINESS VISA.

@ samson ... its a business visa from my company, wonder why he needs affidavit of support.thanks for giving courage.

Affidavit of Support is only for Visit Visa. Business Visa has different requirements. But take note Affidavit of Support is not enough if you're in Visit Visa. They will still ask for supporting papers.

Uragon was right. Let him dress like a millionaire.

mam if all the papers are ok then let him go ahead grab the chance. first he must have your affidavit of support marriage contract and visa. it is also an advantage that he is holding a ticket and visa to NZ, this will prove that his reason of going to QA is purely for visiting you in the holiday season. i think you should go ahead and ask him to be confident when they ask him questions in the immigration.

BoC? It has nothing to do with departing passenger. BoI maybe.

sorry. what i mean is BI not BoC. just let him try his luck ma'am.

just warn you, they're really strict with business visa. In fact, i was offloaded once. but it was visit visa. they're asking for lot of documents. Birth Certificate of my sponsor to show his relationship with me. His contract, salary certificate and everything. I was not able to show them the NSO BC of my uncle, they offloaded me just for that. What they want was Ninoy's. I gave them SLAPSH*T instead.

They might ask you your Business Permit, your bank account, your assets... just prepare something that will establish that your husband is really going for a business trip.

its not POEA and not BoC its BoI immigration officers...why dont you let him dress business attire and act like a businessman..thats all they will allow him to board..

Option 2 apply him a family visit visa it takes only 3 days + 7days to stamp in Qatari embassy in manila..

Plenty of bribe money is the answer, BoC need their kick back, so do the POEA.... it's all part of the government plan to give government employees a good retirement.

It's not the POEA ma'am it's the BoC. They're suckers! Trust me. You already know what they want.

But there are lot of ways to trick them. Like what my friend did, he went to Thailand first before coming to Qatar. It would be easier that way.
